Coaching applications
posted 12/11/2015

We are currently accepting applications for  Spring 2018 coaches.  If interested, please visit our website at  and select the "FYLL Coaches Application" on the left side.  Please consider volunteering your time for what will be a very rewarding experience. Head coaches will receive compensation for one registration at the close of the season, and Assistant coaches will receive compensation for their US Lacrosse membership.

FYI:  Parents may only be on the field with the players, or on the sidelines at games, as an "approved" coach for FYLL.  This includes warming up goalies etc.  If you feel you may have interest in participating beyond collecting balls at practice, please fill out the application.

In addition, if you are concerned about scheduling issues, please just note that on your application and we will work with you. Many of our teams in the past have had great partnerships between Head and Assistant coaches to be sure that every game and practice is covered.

If you are new to the game, or need to brush up on your coaching, we will be holding  coaches clinics before the start of the season. Additionally we are building out a coaches section to our website along with USLacrosse that will provide access to exceptional coaches training and drills that can be used.

All coaches must pass the background check prior to their application being approved and complete the Level 1 Certification, either online or at a clinic.  We encourage you to continue your education beyond that level, and NVYLL will reimburse FYLL coaches for level 2 or 3 clinics.  Please e-mail with your receipt of payment, certificate of completion, and your name and address.
