FAQ's

                               FAQ’s

  • Evaluations: for age groups with more than 1 team except for U9 boys and K-2 girls.  All players are required to attend, including 1st year players. Usually held over 2 weekends in February.
  • Practices: will likely start the first week in March, and may be either indoor (Battlefield Sportsplex, Manassas) or outdoor (fields in Warrenton area) depending on weather and field conditions.
  • Practice schedules:  Teams normally practice 2 nights a week, starting around 6:00.   During March only, some coaches may choose to practice on a Saturday also.  Schedules are based on coaches availability and field space, and will not be finalized until after evaluations.
  • Games: The first weekend of games is usually around April 1st.  Boys typically play on Saturday and Girls on Sunday. Games run through mid June.  Games are played at home, (Liberty High School or PB Smith) and away in the surrounding counties.
  • Game schedule: FYLL is part of Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League.  NVYLL is responsible for all game schedules for teams throughout the area. We will likely not receive a schedule until the week before the first game.  Please also be advised that once published, schedules and locations can change due to weather and field availability.
